What happened to my window?
I was going through drivethru as usual... pull down my windows... and when i try to pull them back up... itz going up really slow! alsmost as if the window is too heavy for the motor... then when i got home....i role down the windows to open my garage door(i need to use the key in the apt. complex) my windows are stuck!!!
it comes down perfectly but just won't come back up?? any idea what might be wrong and what i need to replace?

your window motor is most likely dying...same thing happens to me. Its on and off, sometimes it wont go back up, sometimes it takes like 5 min to go up. If you dont still have warranty a new window motor will cost you about $250 to put in =X thats why i havent fixed mine yet

fellow MASShole
time to join the rest of the acl family that have had blown window regulators ... basically the motor that runs the window on its track is dead or is half in the grave ... its a very common problem 250 or so if u dont have warranty ... if u do tell them that u want both done cause the other one WILL go at some time

who wants my used motor?
it actually works pretty well.
when my cable broke and the driver's side window
was stuck..... they replaced the entire mechanism...
motor and actuator.
so if anyone needs it.... let me know.
i can take pics at your request.
how much? not sure... just give me an offer.

ok... try this... this also happend to me but all i did is get some high quality greese lube whatever.... took off my panels and reach in the little holes everywhere on your door and lube up everything that looks like its going to move... then roll down your window and notice that there is a little black plastic piece on the top right hand corner of the window... if your looking at it from outside) ok the plastic piece is a guide for the window.. over time the track heats up and dries out.. so lube up the track real good and try and make it look nice also .... then just roll it up and down to spread the lube... it work for me and hopefully it works for you .... by the way does it make a real bad squeel when rolling it up....?
