nice color choice. keeping the wheels white?

 

yeah for now at least. I just need to throw some spacers on and the car has just enough camber so it wont rub the fender. My tranny seems to be holding just fine even though it still slips bad but my next thing after its painted is focusing on the interior and trunk space. I wanna find some darker gray or black leather seats, replace or wrap over the plastic wood trim, and make a new trunk cover out of platic and wrap it in wood vinyl

On topic, I've been putting off ripping my rear lip off to start the FG work, but plan to do that Friday night. Also ordered a new SMD LED dome light last night for the ack since I was buying a bunch of bulbs for the 4Runner

 

okay, so it's tax return time, got mine filed and I'm putting a list together of what I need to buy for the CL to get her back on the road.

I've come to ask for wheel suggestions. I need 4 tires and my rims are pretty bent up, so if I can find a decent price on a combo, I want to do it. I really do need to keep the price low and based on how many side walls I've bulged, I want to stay with 16's. I like double y's and I like 5 spoke or multi spoke, but no chrome, except for the lip maybe. I'm even open to black, but not really any color.

So any suggestions?

oddly I'm kind of liking the Enkei WDM's, wondering what they'd look like on the CL.

i dunno if this is against the rules to say this. but the person selling the XXR's is a member on the forums and is a good person. met the guy before.

Not really feeling those as it feels like its was pre-The fast n furious era. imo.

Yeah, we cut the feet off of both the cl and rsx seats and are re welding the rsx feet in the new spots. It's not easy though. The guy that I'm having help me/do it with me alongside is getting frustrated. I'm getting frustrated because he told me it would be no problem! Almost to the point of finding someone else! I'm regretting starting this venture for sure!

talk about getting antzy, I've got 7 days till I fix the car, thinking about making appts now at shops. I've actually decided to take my car to NJ where I had it fixed last time, I'm hearing horror stories about my local dealer. They're apparently real shady give you used cars as loaners and generally treat you like nobody. For everyone's reference the bad dealership is DCH Acura of Poughkeepsie.

 

Know the feeling bro, I won't be driving my CL for a few more months, and I'm itchin to drive it now, even with snow on the ground

 

I just got mine out the shop. It has new brakes n rotors now.

Still have to glue the side airbag port shut, already cut the blown airbag out.
