Weird Brake Light Issue

My tail lights work fine, however just my left brake light is not coming on. I replaced the dual filament bulb but the left brake light is still out. With the new bulb in, I can hear a clicking noise near the console every time I press the brake. I'm very stumped by this, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

check your fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel

thanks for the response, but the fuses aren't an issue because the other rear lights work fine and they are all on the same line.

It might be a relay problem. I dont know the location, but perhaps the relay that your brake switch trips is busted - that might be your clicking noise.
