I reported that last week i bought the VAFC and was having it put in. The result was seen at the 1/4 and i got my money worth. Total cost was 670 for the parts and labor. But 670 of the best performance yet! My previous time was 14.79-14.58 without the little devil. I knocked two tenths off!!!! 14.32!!!! Here i come Rick!!!! Read my sig, NOS on the way!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh by the way, Rick, I'm originally from fairfax, va and i'll be over there this fall, i'm debating if i should take my car or not!!!???!!! If so we could run!! BTW, I had no gas on the run, spare was taken out, and used 1/2 gal of 93 octane with octane boost. I weigh 215; if my sister races it (90 somethin pounds) i'm sure she's have an even lower time.
Just found a track last weekend. Give me a couple a weeks and I'll get up there....2hours away.
I thought you'd have dyno numbers since you said it was tuned. Get it tuned and you'll get more than 2 tenths lower.
Dont know how they determine the settings to put in it? What are they by the way? Where are you engaging VTEC?

i can adjust it, but i really think i mighta messed things up by not reading anything. You know, you get a new toy and you don't wanna read about it you wanna PLAY with the mother! It kicks in hard at 2,2.3,2.5 I think?? 1-3 gears anyway. I'm really ignorant about it. But hey, if u say i can get more then okay!

After fighting with my VAFC for a couple of weeks I let it win. I disconnected the vtec wire and I am bacsically using it as a SAFC for the N20. On the dyno it showed an extreme increase in richness right before vtec kicked it causing the lag and hard kick when vtec did kick in, strangely this did create 8 more horse on the dyno but I dissconnected it anyway because they coudnt adjust the fuel curve enough to level out the air/fuel ratio. Other wise as a SAFC I got about 14 horse out of it with the N2O.
