Well, i put on my AEM intake (non V2) and I had to take off the wheel to get the plastic wheel well guard thing off so that i could put the filter on. The V2 filter is in the same spot so i am guessing you would have to do the same. Or you could take the bumper off, but in my opinion that is much more difficult.

i did it on my car, and i saw when my guy installed it..

the instruction that was in the v2 box says u need to take the wheel off, but he didn't take it off and just installed it..

u can do it by urself easily..

my guy did it for me when he changed my rotors w/ axxis brakes..

well, we didn't even disconnect the battery when I got it installed, so I think I'm gonna go disconnect it tomorrow, for about 20 minutes, then reconnect, then drive around a bit without revving it for abour 10 miles. that should do it.

u should just disconnect, reconnect a few minutes later start the car and let it sit for like 10 minutes. if you are driving around, the computer won't know what the hell is going on.

I felt like such a dumbass, but Iw as HELLA tire the night before. I pretty much passed out when I hit the bed.. like Im about to in 10 minutes.

u don't need to remove the wheel u can just pull the resonator out without taking the wheel off just turn ur steering wheel to the left... that should do it.

well, if you turn your steering wheel, there isn't enough clearance, or a good enough angle for removing it from the well. It' s easier to just go in from the underneath of the fender well. save a WHOLE lotta time.

the resonator drops out of the bottom of the car no problem... it was getting at the bolt the connects the resonatorthat was the problem and the reason for removing the wheel... if the bolt was in front of the resonator (like the 1st bolt) removing the wheel would not be necessary... but it isn't... so i had to take the wheel off. i guess you could just remove the air box and install the V2 but the resonator would still be in place, thus defeating the purpose of getting a CAI in the first place
