yeah I think theres not much more you can do internally besides CL-S cams without swapping the block, heads, or both. Look at some of the threads on v6p.net on engine swaps, they have so many different configurations with pros and cons for each one, a lot of great info.

I can help you out, just let me know how serious you are about this. And how much are you willing to spend. There are countless posts I've made regarding some of the things you can do with the J30A1.

If you are going with a 75 dry shot a new fuel pump (Walbro) wouldnt be a bad idea. You really dont want to lean out.

no one has blown the J30 on this site / v6p.net and alot of people push over 75 shot our compression ratio / internals do fine. The J30 is pritty nitrous friendly cocoa ran a 125 shot stock internals fastvtec cl ran the 125 shot dry no internal problems 75 shot
is just the tip of the ice berg

Wow,

Where is Rick when you need him.

You will run into problems if run that dry shot on a constant basis, Dustbuster4 had to replace his engine after about 40K miles of constantly running a dry shot ranging from 50-125 over time. The car was fast as all get up, but the engine just wore down with time and lots of running up on some BMW's and stuff. We also were at the track like all the time too!

I'd like to mate a Dr Evil Tranny with a S/C and run that baby.
