i know theres a japanese lettering for the cl just like integras and civics... i wanna make a plate for it does any know the intials for the acual acura 2.3 cl ?

Ive always feared those "jap letter stickers" because you dont know what the hell they really say. For all you know you can be rolling in your car looking all tough with a sticker that says "im a dousche bag" in Jap.

My sincerest apologies if you have an "Im a Douschebag sticker" on your transportation. Unfortunately im allowed to say what i want unless im offending anyone but, Since I offended you i would like to once again extend my apology.

PS why do some people on this board have sticks up their asses man! What a bad name the CL is getting....1st theirs no aftermarket parts for it 2nd some of the owners act like they havent been laid in a while.

 

Maybe some CL owners haven't been laid in a while, but not all :blaze: Anyhow, I think the general consensus is, do what you want to your car. I am sure that there are guides online to find japanese letters. But keep in mind that there are 4 alphabets in the japanese language, but I'm sure you can find it. As for people hatin with sticks up their asses, just remember that although they might have different tastes, it's your car, do what YOU want to do to it. And I'm sure that if you have taste, when you are done, it will look respectable, as long as you put the work into it, like other peoples on here. Remember, CL's don't all have to look the same. Make it look the way you want, that's my philosophy as well. And, just because he wants to put a sticker on his car, doesn't automattically mean that his car will be ricey, you never know what other mods he has done to his car. I am definately not a fan of rice, but let him do what he wants, don't shut him down so quick.

I never said i had a problem with decals infact i have some some decals on my jeep. What i DID say was that i have always been nervous about stickers written in foreign languages because for all you know they can say something completely different and someone that actually knows the language will laugh at you.

Im in the advertising field and we have studied alot of cases including one from nike in which they tried to do a commercial in an African dialect and at the end the meanings were totally different and it was a total nightmare.

AGAIN... Sorry if it was taken the wrong way...I think decals look alright if you put them tastefully (my opinion)
