Type S on a 1st gen?

Has anyone thought of customizing a 3.2 Type S engine to fit a 1st. gen. CL?

Could U imagine that? The 3.2 type S has 260 hp, 232 torque it's manual and the 1st gen. weights 500 lbs less. Civics are doing it with Integra engines right? Its a just crazy idea & I'm not a mechanic or pro so Smart-asses can keep it movin!

Do a search on oneqwkcl or teaminfamous. Theres threads out there but none of the pics work.

It was alot of time and money (including stand alone engine management).

Would have been a informative topic but kept turning into a flame war.

oneqwkv6 did it on his car. it cost well over 10k i'm preety sure and parts of the frame had to be cut to make the tranny fit.

it's a cool thing, but it would be easier just to mod the 3.0 you have.

you'd be better off buying the heads of the type S and just putting them on your car

Well, technically it would be more then 60HP b/c he also had a supercharger, so the HP and Torque numbers are probably pretty impressive. Plus... what a sleeper that would be

It was a single turbo. Supposedly he was running 11s or something like that.
