If the turbo manifold fits the H22, then it won't fit the f22b1 that comes in the 2.2CL.

Well you shouldn't advertise that it fits on the H22 then because it won't. The port pattern for the F22b is unique.

You should post which engine that actually fits if you want to sell it...and just a heads up this type of thread is not allowed.

do people really put turbos on a 2.2? Why not just swap engines to a 3.0 at least?

Indeed. A 2.2 with a turbo on stock internals puts down over 200hp and 200ft-lbs to the wheels, and the manual transmission can actually handle it.

Turbo V-Tec is a PITA. It's unreliable and that is why not many do it. Get the CompTech S/C. Much better performance and many less hastles.

Just my two cents worth.

gaujo good friend, you've gotta understand that the 3.0 tranny is complete dog shit. The engine itself is a honda block so there's nothing to worry about there, but with a tranny like that, its not a wonder why you dont see alot of heavily modded J30's out there.

F22's on the other hand have alot more potential... just rebuilding the engine alone can bump you up into the 160-180 fwhp range, and then there's always the possibility of boosting the thing, which can throw you up into the mid-high 200's... check out xrunner86x and niedjb in the archives... All the while, the f22 5speed can probably withstand it all without flinching (given you upgrade the clutch and flywheel of c'.)

So yea... thats my

thx for the replys it really pisses me off that they didn't ever offer a manual with the 3.0 I just can't get why they do that? The same problem is with the mid grade engine on the Cadillac CTS, no manual available unless u get the bottom of the line or the top of the line expensive ass v8

word. in the US automatics dominate. i think we'll start seeing more manual cars over here as the gas prices climb.
