Sweet, mine is orginal tranny, but it has a slight pause from 2-3 gear on the auto. It seems sometimes it don't know wat it is doing. Hmm maybe this will take it out, I am sold on this.

Congrats! Very cool!

r0dxx: There should be a filler location on top of the transmission housing (towards the driver's side of the engine). It takes a ratchet/socket to remove the bolt. I'm not exactly sure where it's located on the 4-cylinder.

No.

Just follow my instructions, and don't block off the line. Using that line allows for a complete circulation through the radiator and the tranny cooler.

Welp, I ordered it on Sunday, it got here today, and it took about an hour or so to install. Not hard at all, but the new tranny hose was a bitch to get on the cooler nipple. One of the ties were hard to trim with the fan.

Lost about 1 tbsp of fluid

Damn. Rick, did you get the ATF fill bolt out of the top of your tranny? I couldn't budge it with various extensions. I ahd to flush my tranny filling through the dipstick

You got that right! I could never get it to budge. Put a 4-foot piece of pvc over the end of my 3/4" socket for leverage and snapped the socket wrench. I'm going to ask the dealer to loosen it for me when I go in for the recall...

wont the 1677 fit cause i was just noticing on the pic at the begging of the thread, on the pack it says 1677?

also has anyone ordered the cooler from the website dustbuster provided cause i cant find it on that website. i would rather pay $32 instead of $49.
