Not sure of the Hayden Cooler, but you can get the B&M cooler and Filter from Summit Racing.

B&M Transmission Cooler

B&M Remote Filter

I've also heard a lot about the weak trannys these things have. Seriously though, how weak can it be?. my tranny seems fine, smooth shifts, the whole nine.

best guesses, how long should the stock tranny last before it craps out?

I've got 38k on my car right now and do 98% of my driving on the highway which doesn't involve a whole lot of shifting, so do I really need a transmission cooler? obviously I don't want my tranny to die, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Don't get me wrong, I do want this vehicle to last a long time and expect it to but I'm also not too keen on the idea of putting money into the thing right now for something that I don't need for a couple years. how many people actually have to replace their transmission within, say, 75000 miles?

also, what's the install like - degree of difficulty:
1 = you could do it if you were brain-dead and only had one hand with two fingers
10 = for professionals ONLY

cheers,

Matt

my 2.3 auto tranny went at 70k, and supposedly the 3.0 is a worse tranny no? tranny cooler is to prevent problems, if you wait til theres something wrong to put one on it wont do you much good.
