terrible alignment

Ok I'm starting to get fed up...After my drop, shocks, and camber kit and like 6 alignments my car pulls to the left like crazy! Like if i take my hand off the wheel for a second my car switchs lanes to the left and like when i stop my car at a light the whole steering wheel turns to the left...I went to a good place for the alignment and he said my camber is in spec and everything else except for the TOE? He said maybe frame damage or sumtin...What can i do? what do u guys think the problem is? If i take my hand off the wheel for a second i go to the left instantly.

Sounds kinda serious. It didn't pull at all before the drop??? Did you have the springs/shocks checked out? Does your car seem to ride hard on one side compared to the other. Maybe one/two of your springs/shocks could be defective? If not, prob frame damage as you said. Check the seems of your car for paint marks or body parts not lining up correctly, your car might have been hit before you......

Toe is what effects your pull, ability to stay straight, etc. Camber and caster effect the uprightness of the wheel.

If you were only pulling when braking, i'd say get your brakes checked. But since you get the pull driving as well, you have a toe problem. I they can't get it straight, i'd wonder who the people are you are dealing with. Call around to some shops that do performance suspension work, and ask who they recommend. DO NOT GO TO A PEP BOYS OR THE LIKE, they are smoking crack..... I had a guy at PEP boys drive my car, put it on the rack, spin the wheels and tell me it was the very low profile tires..... I took it to a shop that works closely with a performance suspension shop....TOE was off the chart.

Hmmm, then I would say you hav a bent/broken tie rod, or some control arm issues (less likely).

Did they mention to you what was broken to cause them to not be able to turn it into spec? Which side is the one that is bad? These guys should be able to look under the car and tell you what is interfering with the alignment.

Have you curbed or wrecked the front end?

What find of camber kit do you have... Ball joint or arm this will effect your caster. If you pull to the left you have a to much possitive on your caster split. You need to have about -.5 caster split. The reason I ask about your camber kit is with an arm your can't adjust caster just camber. With an adjustable ball joint you can adjust it. The caster of your vehical will determin the way the car rides. For example to much + will pull left and to much - will pull right. The toe adjustment has nothing to do with the way ride just the way the tire wears. If you have any ??? fill free to e-mail me at rgarza@stracing.com and I will fill you in on all your alignment problems...

So I take my car to this local mechanic funniest guy in the world...I showed him the problem soo we noticed i was missing part of my camber kit?! So i go to cybernation (the place that did all the work) and they overnight the kit to fix it. So they put it on today and now my car doesnt pull to the left at all But funny thing is tonight i was driving around more and now when i take my hand off the wheel it suddenly veers to the right! What the hell is going on? Its alot better then my left side swing i would like switch lanes in a second. He gave me a full print out of my camber, caster, and toe.
