HAHA i knew going into this that i would have some funny responces.
There is no problem. I just dont use it and figured that I will use that cable that goes from the tape deck to the CD as an input for my ipod (by splicing into it)... I want to try it first before i go out and buy the adapters...
And yes, my CL came with a tape deck!

well, i do have the diagram for the pin out. Its really simple.
As a side note, I just sold a Honda cassette deck like that on ebay, got a whole $10 for it plus $8 to ship.
Im gonna look for the diagram and i'll post it when i find it.

Yeah my one friend has a 05 accent too and again, there is no cd player, just a tapedeck...
I used to use the CD player in my car till i got the iPod. Then it was the iTrip, now its time to see if i can wire it in and not fu*k something up. I guess that as a last resort, i'll go out and buy the Neo iPod adapter...

I think his main goal right now is to save some money... or try to. If his idea fails, then it seems he'll spend the $$.
Im just not sure how you'll get the deck to recognize that something is connected to it.

i'll put at tape in it and instead of the sound comming from the tape, it will go from the ipod... or so i plan on it. but then again i might just go out and buy the damn thing.
