sub hook up
sub hook up
i could probably search and find something. but i thought id just ask. i just acquired a small 10" bazooka tube with built in 150watt amp. the power wires are 12 gauge, fairly small. i know we have the bose amp in the trunk somewhere. can i power the subs from there? like is there a 12v coming from back there worthy? or just the remote? it will be just as easy to run the cable from the battery but would cost less if theres a 12v source back there.
if so for the remote, which wire is it?
sorry for the post.

Yeah you should have searched, but I'll forgive you cuz it's 66 deg and sunny outside
You're better off running the 12v to the battery. You'll need a line output converter to tap off of one of the rear channels. The remote, the colors are different from 98 and 97 so hopefully someone else has that answer.

When I do stereos, I never ever use any power source that I didn't run myself. Its the only way I know that it was done right and is sufficient. That source always always always comes from the battery.
