If you're serious about tuning the car, get a P28 or other vtec OBD1 ecu. You'll need a conversion harness to run it in your car, which go for around $80. From there you can chip that ecu (http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Library/WebHome ) and use a ROMEditor such as Uberdata, Crome, or Hondata to control just about anything you want. There's no cheap ebay chip that will do anything good for your car.

You get the same results buying another type of piggy back and just tuning it.

Unichip and VAFC if anything, don't buy any ebay chips, and you won't find a new ecu for your motor.

Why won't he find a new ecu for his motor? Local junk yards have plenty of virgin ecu's. Standalone engine management is head and shoulders better than piggy back controllers.

If I have more than one passenger, I'm cruising in my 4runner anyway, I really wish I could just do away with my rear seat, but I want it to look stock inside, don't ask me why
