i'm thinking about getting headers for my 3.0...would they be fine with the stock exhaust piping...how much do you think installation would be

The will be OK with stocking piping but you wont see the whole improvment unless you open up the exhaust. Get 2.25 - 2.5" piping. You will see your biggest improvement then.

I have no clue on price of instalation. Why dont you do it yourself?

i will get custom piping done as soon as i get more money i'm thinking about just buying the headers now and putting them in when i do get custom piping...do you know how much that would cost?

I definitely recommend the Stones. I've had them about 6 months with no problems.

 

Did you have to have the downpipe bent? What stones do you have? How much was the install, and did they have to modify at all? Thanks

 

There is no bending necessary for these. I installed them myself. Its really not that hard. The bolts connecting the lower pipes to the cat have a tendency to seize up, though. Access to a lift and airtools would help a lot.

 

I forgot to mention they are 98-02 Acoord from ssautochrome.

 

guys if i wanted custom piping should i just go to a muffler shop like fair muffler for example and ask for custom piping? sorry about the newbie question

well i have no idea what part should i have done and i already have an aftermaket muffler
