Alright, so it takes me about 3 times to turn the car on...every now and then - sometimes it works just fine . It doesn't click @ me, so I know it isn't the battery. "Luckily," last time I was visiting my sister, my dad was there, and my car wouldn't start. I say luckily because he doesn't generally believe that everything I say is wrong w/ my car, really is - so this way he'll know I'm not lying. Rather than working on getting me a new car, my parents like to just fix the pos that I currently have. This being said, my dad came outside, took some long metal thing, hit the starter, and the car started. So he says, "Just hit the starter in the morning, and you're good to go!" Oh hell no, I'm not that ghetto ! How much is a starter going to run me, along with labor...do ya think?

there's only 3 or 4 bolts holding the starter to the block so it's easy to diy if you want to get ur hands dirty... otherwise it's 150-170 parts and labor...

no offense, but why don't YOU work on getting a new car vs your parents doing it for you?

just wondering, cause that sounded a little whiny to me.

BTW, good luck with the starter, it's pretty easy to do. Tell your dad you don't want the ghetto rig anymore!

Next car I get, I have to buy. But, my parents aren't the brightest crayons in the box all of the time, so if I can get them to put that $3000 for a new tranny towards a new car, imma darn well try! hahaha

I want to get hit so I can get rid of this cursed car! I had to go back to the dealership b/c the "lining" on my window was coming off - the window they just worked on. It's an hour away, and they had to order a part, so I have to go back later this week. While there, I had to move my car up. To set the scene: I'm parked with open offices to my left, the waiting room to my right, and the mechanics in front of me. I had to move forward b/c someone else was coming in, hell if my car won't start. It took me 4 tries and then it finally worked. I was completely mortified and so pissed off I cried - I CRIED, i almost never cry! I'm so mad and now I have to go back to that freaking dealership thursday!

Don't wish that you'll get hit... no one knows what's gonna happen.

I just got rear-ended half an hour ago. I was waiting for the light to turn green and the lady behind me anticipated the green light and BAM!

The back bumper cover is kinda badly damaged... pics later... and now i hear the fuel (or some liquid) rushing alongside the car (makes a whooshing sound)...
