Starter?

When I put my key into the ignition, sometimes I turn it and I hear a click and my engine doesn't turn on. If I do it a couple of times it'll finally turn on. Once I was driving and I got to a stop sign and the car just turned off. I turned it back on and it worked fine after that. What do you guys think is wrong?

sounds like it could be your ignition switch that made it shut off. The problem starting sounds like a starter though, I just replaced mine

Check if you qualify for the recall on the Acura website.

this could be a lot of things: starter, ignition (possible recall for your year), or it could be a bad connection.
i have had this problem before with other cars and it's usually the starter, but it has also been corrosion on a battery post or a loose battery connection, so that was the very first thing i checked and that was ok, so i assumed it was the starter.
so i buy a starter and tried to install it but couldn't get the mounting bolts off with hand tools, so i rewire and put back together and it works fine now---my guess is that it was a bad connection on the starter and not the battery----so check them before you waste time and $$

I have the exact same thing going on with my car, and it is weird because if the car is real cold, it starts right up, could be the solenoid. I guess I should check the wiring though.
