Something to do this weekend

I figured I would be bored this weekend after going to the awesome meet last weekend. So I just ordered a Venom 400, Venom adj. cam gear and I have to install my header that arrived Tuesday and my clear turn signals that arrived today. Except an H22A engine or a turbo, I think that I am about done.

I won't give up, just running out of money. My car doesn't leak and doesn't smoke, but is loseing oil, 1 quart every 1500 miles. My cat must be burning it up, I could probably use a new one of them. Fly wheel and better clutch would be nice. I need to save up for new rings or seals.

Instead of my car smoking, it is getting trapped in the honeycombs of the catalyic converter, which is very hot (I have seen converters glow at night). It is not actually burning the oil. The engine is burning it, but the cat is capturing all the smoke. That is what the dealer told me and the amount of oil used was just within specs.

one in a million parts are bad im sure. maybe he got some weaker rings than the rest

constant abuse and irregular oil changes.. that could help break down the seals too.... eh.. who knows.

I did buy this car used with 40,000 miles on it and everything looked good. Then I noticed it sucks up a little to much oil. As long as it still runs good, I am going to fix it later this year. I think it is the rings. Got to buy my add on's first.
