some pics of koni/prokit install so far

still waitin for new bolts and bushings for the rear from acura carland. damn they take forever. n e ways here is the front

bout 1/2" wheel gap if that. this is using prokits with koni yellows se on the lower perch from the side of the car u cant see the gap at all so im hopin when i drop the back the front will raise a little. right now it looks a little tucked and i want tourning look not ricey civic so im not sure i might set the koni back to original position

the front end of my car is about 4.5" off the ground. the camera messed the angle a little so it looks like 5

heres some of the energy suspension new bushings. so far i replaced the upper bushings, coil spring isolators, and sway bar end links. im waitin for the summer to replace the upper and lowere contol arms as awell as the lower shock.

so go rent one from autozone, pepboys, track auto, or whatever autostore is around your parts.

you only need the compressor for the stock springs. the aftermarkets can be pushed down by hand.

which H&R springs did you get? if you got the race springs........ man are you gonna be hating life.

I see the headlights are still out, guess your still working on those bmw projectors. Prokits/Koni Yellow is a great combination, I had that setup in my old accord for almost 6 years , never had a single problem, rode great, handled great. looked great!

If you look at the pic really quick it looks just like the headlamp assembly, but that would make the car be slammed on the ground

im going to leave the rear yellows in the original position and drop it. hopefully the gap will be a little bit higher in the rear. just as long as the rear isnt lower than the front ill will be happy. im still waitin on blots for the rear. acura carland is takin 4 EVER!

found out order never went through! damn! im so held up. cant finish the HIDs until the car is dropped finally so i can aim them. cant put bumper on without the lights on. got my car up on jack stands. oh yeah and the damn bolt still wont come out of the bushings. i got both shocks off, but the bolt is still stuck. now im going to torch the bushings out and i will have to replace the bushings now. one thing after anohter after another. i cant wait to be done. a 1 day project has taken a month so far

i just installed my shocks on saturday with my brothers and it would have taken just over 3 hours including our pizza break if we didnt have to go find a bolt for one that was too rusted to be put back on. its not too hard of a project and you get the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself. . if we had a lift instead of doing one wheel at a time on a jack it would have taken much less time.

have a question for u. how many fingers gap did you have in the front and back before you put the konis in? i have a 3 finger gap in front and a 2 finger gap in the back. if it will reduce both to a one finger gap, it's probably worth it. also, i'm getting 18s soon. will the gap be reduced or largened? thanks alot!

i wouldnt with bother a complete bushing set, heard of too many probs, and install is a bitch, however i do reccomend changing the coil pads, upper and lower shock busings, sway bar and endlinks and ull get less body roll, better handling and the ride wont get too harsh. jus little bit, but more than worth it.

i never had the prokits with oem shocks only konis on the lower perch. i havent dropped the rear yet either, so i dont know the final height. but the front is about 1 finger gap and with my lip my front end is about 4" off the ground however when i drop the back i expect the front to lift about 1/4"
