Well, here we go. the video says it all.

slammed_CL_on_18z vs agranado. I got taken by a car or so it seems... not too shabby considering its a v6.

I have I/H/E/P and throwing w/a short shifter. He has exhaust and intake... headers in a box at home waiting to be installed..

so we gunned it from a dig. he pulled slowly. pulling nonetheless. I couldnt ever really get passed him.. the best I could do was not really fall further back than that 1 car space.

Either way, interesting night. after this we were shooting the shit later with a 300zx, a base RSX and an s2k and we all got ticketed for "preparing to drag race"

Overall, had a good night. Nice meeting you and your friends Alex. However, Dont think its always going to be you pulling a car on me. This table will turn very soon.

There's one video of the 3.0 vs the S-10, and I havent posted it yet... Couldnt get a good shot of the run so there really isnt much to see.

It's a vortec v6. Numbers I saw put it at 180 hp/245 tq. It's probably heavy as shit too. heh.

 

More proof that 3.0 > 2.x

That's what happened to me when I raced Subuzz's 3.0 , I can't see your vid at work but I had him from the start and for a good 10 secs then he reeled me in and got a car or so on me.

 

now, im in a good mood...it only takes a few minutes on AZ, i love it

 

i wish we coulda seen an in car video of that 1...both cars sounded pretty good though. agranado you must be a pretty good driver to only lose by that little...i would have expected like 2 cars

 

3.0 will always 2.x

Yea it was it good race but i never did launched now that i remember. 3 beep then exlarated. if i would of luanch i think i would had by a bit more but really good race over all. That same night i beat the 300zx and the extreme s-10. We werent able to get a race of the 300z but when i meet up with the guy again ill make sure to have a vid.

Headers, ngk plug wires, royal purple oil, new fuel filter, ngk sparks,and k&n oil filter all on this weekned. want to see how big of a difference this makes.

The 3.0 either wins or it's a draw. I've raced Duece's H22 CL, and Ryan's (Soodark).

Cocoa vs SooDark (Tied all the way till 125mph, nerve wrecking runs)

 

You would have won by a lot more had you came off the line at 2300 rpms. Coming off the line at 1k really does sucks. Torque brake that bitch...

 

And the last 3.0's and 4 banger CL's I've ran, I always beat by more than 2 cars without nitrous.

Cocoa vs auto 2.3 CL whom is my friend (won by 5+ cars somehow)

So I guess there you have it. Proof that the 3.0 has just as much potential stripped and modded.

I just saw the video. You lost by 2+ cars Argan. Your front bumper on his rear bumper is losing by 1 car. There was another car length in between and plus some.

Oh yea, and CLpower ran an H22 CL before too. He won by 1+ cars.

 

3.0 > 2.x

if he had that header, pulley, 5th gear and a clutch it would be gone. forget 1 car length.

were these runs you not on the bottle? I'd think an h22 would scoot ahead by just a little..

j30 = 200hp & 200lb torque.

h22 = 200hp & 195lb torque.

The run against Ryan (SooDark, whom sold his car for a 350Z) was the closest run I've had against teh H22. We literally pulled on eachother by a bumper every few seconds. That's why it was an intense race. We posted the results on the boards. That was like 2 years ago. Man were those the days.

 

I posted the run against SooDark's 350z, I lost horribly. Had no traction what's so ever, and ran out of nitrous after the first run, lol. My friend gave me back me back a "full" bottle after we put it in a RSX. Ass, lol....

But I got my revenge on the 350Z, won by 1/3 a car with slightly not traction in 1st and 2nd. He was winning by 1/2 a car by the end of 2nd. Once I got into 3rd, I pulled hard and had 1/3 of a car on him by 95mph. I posted that run as well on the boards last year.

 

The H22 is still a bad ass engine though. I wanted one so bad in an eg. But now it's K series heaven.
