Short -throw shifter for 1st Gen CL?
Anybody know of any short-throw shifters made for the 1st gen CL? I have a '98 2.3CL manual, and shifting takes too way too long. Any help here?

Installation is pretty simple. Getting to the stick is a bit of a hassle. You have to take out the armrest first, than the center consol. Once this is done you get to the stick. The B&M and DC kit are just a shift adaptor, not a replacement for the whole shift linkage. Well anyhow, there are directions on how to install. Basically you just have to unscrew, stick the adaptor on and screw it back. Simple.... once you get to it.

The shifts are significantly shorter. You will definately like it. However it feel alot better when you get a shift knob that sits lower that your stock nob.
Yeah... no more rowing the boat... I like how you put it.... never thought of it like that
