replace springs not shocks
Almost all 3.0's that I've seen w/ the Pro-Kit springs have had to replace their struts.
I had the Pro-Kit springs on my 2.3 for almost 2 years and the struts were in great shape still.
That is if you decide to go with those springs. Anything lower and I would say you, without a doubt, need to replace them.

If you plan on keeping your car a while, its recommended to do them both at the same time since you will eventually need to replace the shocks. It also saves on the labor, whether you do it yourself or get someone to do it for you.
