Removing intake silencer

Is there an easy way to remove the clips holding the plastic inside the wheel well to get at the intake silencer? Do i just pull them out and hope they don't break, or can they come out a little easier than that?

they come out easy. you can use your finger nail or a small flat head screwdriver, and pop up the middle part of the clip.. they are push clips. once you get the center part up, you just grab the base part and lift up.

dont worry about it, i mean even though it was talked about before. I mean if people didnt ask questions how will they ever learn. But yeah those clips can break easily, so becarefull. I had to buy a bunch at the dealership.

My 8 year old clips were not coming out happy. I just bought a dozen new clips from honda for like 88 cents a piece, and replaced all the ones I was removing. I felt better about having new clips anyway. Those clips are so shitty, just buy new ones. That way if you can't get the clip out without a fight, you can just break them out.

They're the shorter of the 2 clips for accords. The dude at honda didn't know which ones i meant, but I guessed the shorter ones, and they were right. 88 cents a piece, u can't beat that. Acura wants like $1.20 each those asses.
