how do you remove the headlights?
i cant get the front bumper off until i get the headlights....i got the top 2 bolts and the side one....how do i get the bottom ones out?

from other threads about people paiting the headlight housings, the bumper comes off before the headlights do.

 

i have a housing paitned gunmetal well a dark metallic color and it looks sweet on my primrose CL

the bumper is easy to take off, in the past 2 weeks i have had the bumper off so many time for my projector conversion i bet i can do it with my eyes closed but anyways......

1. on the driver side and passenger side there is a screw in the fender, if you are on the driver side its top left side on the inside of the fender, on the pass. side it is on the top right on the inside of the fender as well
2. next take off yoru clear or amber lenses, this can be done by looking for the hole on the inside of the grill for the bumper there is a screw, take that out and take out the lenses
3. then inside on the top left corner there should be a bolt, i think it is a 10 or 12mm socket, easier to use a extesion wand or 2 then there is one on the other side of that bracket and then do the same for the other side
4. left up on the bumper and pull off, and there you go

ther should be five bolts, 2 on top, then 3 on bottom after you do the instruction on how to remove the bumper i told ya about then you can get the the 3 on bottm, there should be 5 for each headlight, make sure you diconnect your lights before removing the headlights, some people forget to
