hello people,
I got rear ended last night by a young teenage girl at a stop light. Well, the bumper is cracked lil bit by the license plate area and deep scratches in the right rear corner..anyways, just wondering how hard it is to replace the bumper on my own? I might get cash value from her and i might just do the job myself?

Also, the stock rear bumper replacement + rear muffler at a body shop quoted me about 2k. Is this over priced or standard rate? i wont be paying for it but the girls mom will be paying the shop before they start working on it.

I was also thinking about buying a 4 piece body kit from ebay that might come out cheaper and cooler looking at the end? (how hard is it to install the front and rear bumpers on our cars?)

thanks for the heads up! the people who flame at everything got nothin better to do. Anyways, your kit doesnt look that differant then the front bumpers that are selling on ebay.

your rite, but my bumper was made to fit the cL, it didnt come as is.

 

Your gonna find the general consensus around here that body kits do not look good on a cl.

There are a few people that have picked the right ones that can actually pull them off. This one being one.

 

Veilside is the best custom bumper selection IMO. If you have $1500-2 grand plus labor

 

is the veilside kit already customized for the cl? or do the body shop have to convert some other car kit on to our kit...

what rear bumper fits our car that looks good? I might not get the body kit from ebay because it is too much. Looks like one of those transformer robots.

I will only get a differant rear bumper and front ww lip. Where is a good place to buy this WW front lip? Also where can i find good looking rear bumper that will fit the cl?

The veilside is for an accord, and needs customized. There are no rear lips or bumpers for the CL, except the ricey spider/black widdow bumpers. Anything else for the CL rear has to be custom fit.
