I bouth this pioneer deck a while back. My speaker was jacked about a few days back, yesterday when in my car i could listen to music, but today the stereo is not getting any power, is there anyone out there that knows why? has my stereo gone dead? or is there some power issues related to the stolen stereo?

how can I check to see if there's power going through to the cable that power the stereo?

I think the first and most obvious place to look would be the fuse. Make sure the fuse isn't blown. Beyond that I'm not much help, but you may want to take it to the Audio & Video section on the site to see if the folks there can help.

 

There are 4 fuses for your radio / cigarette lighter. 2 inside the car (1 main, 1 backup) and 2 in the fuse box under your hood, (1 main, 1 backup) Last time I had the problem, it was the blue radio fuse under the hood. G'luck

Check the fuses first, it's probably just a blown fuse.

 

Check to see if there is any power going into the deck, first off. You go autozone (or whatever) and get yourself a cheap test light. DO THAT FIRST. If your getting power to your deck, then you know its your deck.

 

Well sometimes my player just doesnt turn on when i start my car. so i take my deck out take the fuse out then put it back in and it works fine again. haha why meee
