QUIET muffler?
C030CL, i was just about to ask the same question. i'm thinking of getting a muffler, but i don't want it to be loud. i just want it to be loud when i floor it, but not during daily driving. any suggestions?
I have an OBX single canister axel back and it is very quiet. A touch louder than stock probably but hardly anything.
It may get a little louder as time goes on but I don't think it's possible to get an exhaust that is quiet when you want and loud when you want. A loud exhaust may be a bit quieter cruising on the highway with slight throttle but usually it's loud thoughout the powerband.

I have the Apexi world sport on my accord... its just a tad louder than stock. It really is very quiet... but it did give my car a nice kick in the ass!! I have no idea if the accord exhaust will fit on a CL, I dont think it does because the CL is a little longer in the ass end.

I know for a fact that the WS doesn't fit our CLs...I ordered one from a local shop and none of the piping or clips fit...i ended up trading the WS for a universal and had them do a custom 2.25" piping from the catalytic converter to the back. When looking for a universal and you want a quiet sound, you have to go with a larger canister. The smaller the can the louder it is. Hope that helps out
One more thing...when having the universal installed from the cat back, make sure they mandrel bend the pipe. It will cost more, but it's a smoother flow because there are no crinks in the pipe

Yeah, that's about right..i paid $200 or something for the pipes, labor, and the bending....i'm not too sure on how much of a difference it would be though....but for the most efficient, mandrel is the way to go. or i could be wrong...who knows....i think i need to add a little more blood to my alcohol stream...

Good luck trying to find a mandrel bender. When I was doing my exhaust in FL...The muffler guy said the only one in FL who had one was in Miama and each bend cost like $30 or something ridiculous like that.
