Post lowering problems!

I just had my CL lowered with pro kit and koni's a few days ago. Now my car has developed a squeak on the driver’s side, every time I go over a bump the driver side squeaks. Any ideas?? I'm a little concerned about this!

it might be the coils of the springs rubbing

when i lowered my accord i had the same exact problem...i took it to the honda dealership and of course they found something wrong, like i needed to oil god knows what...but the end result did help the noise...so it was a wasted $235...

i doubt anything is seriously wrong w/ the car...my suggestion to u is just turn up your music...it'll make the noise go away

make sure everything is torqued to the right specs. not too much not too little. make sure the springs are seated in the upper pads correctly, and make sure lower part of the spring is seated correctly. also who installled them for you?

I checked with Acura and there is no recall for the ball joint for my car.... the shop that installed my suspension is pretty reputable so I'm not to worried about them doing something wrong........

my car makes a noise when i got over a bump, when i turn, when i do anything. squeak, clunk, click everything. I just try to keep music on. i feel like my car is gonna fall apart the sound it makes when i go over sumtin or if i turn the wheel all the way.

Have someone help you check the springs. I agree with VXCL. The problem may be simply the springs not sitting right on the perch. So without the help of the springs, the shocks might be taking all the beating, consequently making the squeaking noise. Hopefully, this is the problem and this shouldn't cost you much.

I hope this helps.

Same here.. Had the problem on my old 99 Accord. The problem was a worn bushing.

damn theose ball joints...that went out on mine, then the HUB and then it threw my WHOLE alignment outta wack, by the time i caught it, well it was too late, $400 later and NO more tire tread, life now seems to be gettin better for the CL...i hate when that shit happens though..and u cant figure out what it is until WAY later..

I've had my pro kits for a little over 2 years now, with the same squeeking. Except mine only does it when i'm at a complete stop and i turn the wheel. Never bothered me much, so i've just been ignoring it.

I'm just worried that it's a worn ball joint or bushing. I don't want anything falling apart while I'm driving..........

VXCL, Is this normal to just happen like all the sudden for example 6 month's after drop? It happens(metal cling sound) when i hit a bump or sometimes while making certain turns...It sounds like if u were to spray the sheild w/ a hose or sumtin. How do i know if its this? And how i fix it?!?!? THANKZ! ! !! !
