I just want a good answer. I ran my cai w/ out bypass for 3 months and it sounded sick, amazing, loud. Now i put bypass on at it is really alot quiter and toned down, WHY?

 

it's because the sound is being muffled by the foam in the bypass valve

 

is there anyway to get it as loud as it used to be?

 

take the bypass valve out, it's summer time anyways.

 

First of all I live in florida During the summer it rains every afternoon around 3-4pm. I've seen some big ass floods around my town, like i drive through it and it gets caught in my wheel well and my car like loses control for a second. What the best way to take it off considering there is now 2 cut pieces. What do i use to connect them properly?

you could always just remove the lower piece and treat the top part like a short ram air intake.

 

good idea...Is it true Short Ram is louder then CAI? People tell me on there integras its alot louder then the CAI...?
