Ok, Just recently I had to get my callipers changed cuz they were leaking and my breaks failed when I was driving (thank god nothing happened to me or the car). BUt now I hear a pretty loud and annoyign clicking noise under the hood. I first thought it was my belt but after sprayign the belt dressign I still heard the sound. Anyone have any clue whats wrong?

 

a clicking noise huh? thats pretty vauge. it could be the front brakes if who ever replace them didnt put the shimm plates back on they will click. is it like an air conditioner click or louder.

 

Its like a loud clicking noise and it sounds liek its coming from teh engine or near the altinator. I jsut want to make sure it is not something big that i could prevent now then paying for it later. This happens when the car is started and the noise lowers when i'm goign like 30-40MPH

is it constant, how often? is the a/c on or off? im thinkin its the a/c compressor. which is normal.

 

he said it start might the noise if he goes slow. does the click speed up if u speed up?
