The other day I rolled down the passanger window. I got the thing about half way down and that was it. STUCK. Power window.

The bad thing was the fact that I had just pulled up to the Stars
game and I was not about to leave it half way down. It took my brother and I to push/pull the f-ing thing up. I have no idea what the hell the trouble is.

I plan on taking it to acura in the next few day...
To think this car has 49K on it and it's starting to
fall apart.

 

Alot of CL's have that problem.. I took mine back to Acura and they fixed for free with the extended warranty. I think they said it was a regulator something, but don't hold me to that. Just take it to acura and they will fix it.

 

Most likely, the window motor is blown

Yeah don't worry though, it should be covered in warranty. Mine blew out at 47k so you at least had a few extra miles on it compared to mine.

 

Window regulator is correct, happened to me too, no big deal, take to the the dealership, should be covered under warranty..... I think they replaced both sides when they did it too....id ask them..

 

I just got off the phone with Acura. They said my car is a few months out of warranty. He said he could check the part call Acura HQ and see if they will pay for it... I aslo have another warranty through another company so it's no bid deal if they BS....

 

My regulator or motor went too back in 98 but we had to many miles on the car despite the fact we just bought it for the warranty to cover it. It cost a few hundred to fix

 

Rosenthal Acura of Gaithersburg, MD is in the process of installing their 4th, YES 4th regulator in 5 months on my driver's door!

They're also replacing the window moulding and tracking for the 3rd, YES 3rd time in 5 months!

This is why I'm running round in their 2001 Integra service loaner!

Thank God I had the wisdom to purchase an extended warranty!

i went back for a ball joint recall twice before my wheel fell off.....but they gave me a RSX..extended warranty is key.
