Got a CEL over the weekend.

Codes came back as:

P1790 -- Automatic Transaxle Concerns
P0700 -- Transmission Control System Malfunction

 

is your transmission on its way out?

 

Think so. Its been shifting hard from 1st both up and down but it was still running fine. Started hearing a rattling noise when accelerating usually around 1st and 2nd, not sure if its tranny related. Tonight when moving from park to revers, it just banged really hard.

 

Anyone ever had these codes?
