If you dont want to buy a new one, you can try cleaning out your current one first. heres a write up for cleaning the Idle Air Control valve. Its for a different motor, but it should be very similar http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...highlight=IACV

if its not your IAC valve, it could be your FITV (fast idle valve) or PCV valve. good luck

I did it, the cleaning that is. pulled my entire throttle body out and took out the IAC valve. Cleaned it and let it dry. works great adn she pulls better now that I cleaned teh carbon out of teh throttle body. someone with a tl or tsx has a write up here somewhere which I sued. And it has pics. not too complucated. u may need a new TB gasket tho

i found that turning on the A/C is a temporary fix for this stalling problem.

and if your guilty of playing with your throttle cables to remove pedal slack, you might have it to tight... i had this problem and noticed on my safc the throttle% was bouncing around ~.8% when it did the mysterious stalling.

i bet the ecu is having trouble trying to adjust your idle rpm.

i put back a tiny bit of slack and it hasnt stalled since. (2 months ago)

Check your ignition swith, might have an issue there. its under recall and Acura will replace for free. Got mind replaced cause my car was stalling about 5 months back. FREE.

it could be either IAC, ignition switch recall or the throttle cable... i did both IAC and ignition switch recall and my car would still stall.... for me adjusting my throttle cable was the fix.

Im now getting low idle and a vibrating idle, not sure if its having something to do with my CEL light (P0420) but my car idles under 500 rpms now. Think it may be the ICV?
