ok so i recently bought a 96 acura tl it almost has 200k miles. and im getting a P0700 Automatic Transmission Control System code. here are my syptoms.... car doesnt always start on park. sometimes it starts on neutral. it has a small lag at time at take off . when shifting out of first gear it pulls hard. so everyone in the car jerks its funny but needs to stop. and second gear isnt so bad rest of gears are good. acceleration isnt that good. before this code came out i received a speed sensor code. i changed the speed sensor same syptoms different code now. i know there is a at transmission control unit but not sure if its related. when i take it to the shops they say just change the tranny. ill do it if i have to. is there anyone who can help me with this issue? thanks for reading.

By no means am I an expert, but I would service the tranny first. Maybe even change the screen (filter) and see if that helps. Call Tim at oemacuraparts.com . He can get the parts you need. Texashonda or Tim can you weigh in on this problem?

actually the first thing i did was service the tranny and still the same thing. changed the fluid used lucas oil..and nothing....
