p0740=torque converter clutch control circuit

p0700=internal trans controller p0700 code means replaces your TCM

My check engine light just came on - stopped at autozone and am getting P0700 and P0740 error codes. I have read the two are related, you fix one and the other is gone. I full on tranny fluid. So I guess its the TCC I need to replace?

What about Shift solenoid valve?

I don't know if this ever happened to you or anyone else on the forum, but I had my CEL come on and then go off in a few days or weeks, this happened 2-3 times already. So this might lead to two things, either replacing/fixing parts that don't need fixing or leaving something that's malfunctioning, unfixed.

So I'm just saying, how are you sure that it's really broken?
