wheel bearing or bent rim, or your alignment's off

do you live in a snowy area? you might have a piece of ice stuck to your rim, throwing off ur alignment

hahaha changing where the rims are isnt going to change the matter if you have bent rims. your car usually only shakes if your alignments off when youre braking. could be motor mounts, my motor mounts are pretty much done for i wouldnt be suprised if yours are too its an 11 year old car.

a wheel bearing is usually constant, not like this. personally id say motor mounts.

Check for shaft play in your axles. Simply get under the car, and shake your axles as hard as you can. If it moves around, the bearings are shot.

i dont see how it's a bent rim problem. if it was, it would still continue regardless of the gas being pressed.

I would lift the car and check if you have play on the tire. I would check the alignment together with the tires. if they are worn out that could be it

I kind off agree with "972.2" since it is related to you operating the gas flow....but I use to have a lot of viberation on my gear stick and that too when I took my foot off the gas paddel....it would viberate wildely ....and I researched the web and found out that it was my motor mounts....but since in your case it is reversed i.e it viberates when you accelerate....could be your mounts....not sure.....may be alignment coupled with a bent rim....

but if you feel the viberation only around your gear stick then it is definately your motor mounts...but if you feel the viberation of the whole car....then may be alignment coupled with a bent rim....

hope this helps....
