oilpan

can i assume that the oilpan for our CL is the same as the 94-97 honda accords? i'm in despreate need, and i'm turned off by acuras $310 quote for parts and labor.

An oilpan is gonna cost you a bundle I remember when I cracked mine in my civic it cost me $350

Go to a salvage yard, probably score one for around $70-100. As for installation, I don't think it is that hard... you just need access to a lift and a good torque wrench.

acuraautomotiveparts has them for like $70 if I recall correctly. I have a spare one in the garage i could sell you. only thing is it has a barb fitting welded to it from my turbo oil drain line you would have to plug off.

My BMW's oilpan is the lowest part on the car. The dealer cost is 300.00 I have fixed it 2x for 100.00 each time (find a welder that can weld aluminum)

I have two oil pans that will fit the F22 or F23. I will sell it to you for 50 dollars plus shipping if you are interested. These are used oil pans, and one has a dent in it that could easily be pounded out. I have been through some shit with oil pans and happen to have the dented one from my old CL that I could sell you. If you want me to, I can pound out the dent for you, so all you will have to do is buy a gasket and slap it on. Let me know if you are interested. Here is my email addyEMAIL

Also...did you know that the 92-95 H22 (Prelude) oilpan fits our CLs?

i'm interested, but no one really answered if the accord's pan would fit well?
