Help! - Oilpan Leak on my 02 CLS

I have an engine oil leak right on the oilpan - (just next to the oil filter) - Oil is seeping right in between the pan and the engine block - Just wondering if is this common to the 2nd Gen CLS? - I have 150K miles on my engine - Last year I replaced the tranny with 06' Odyssey - I already confirmed that its not a rear main seal leak . Just wondering peeps if 2nd gen CL uses gasket or just plain sealer (on tube) - And do i have to replace the oilpan? - or should I use the old one? (note: pan is in good shape - ) - and last - how much should I torque the nuts back in - Any input will be gladly appreciated thnx

There's a couple of spots on these motors that will leak in that area.
1) most-common: main bearing cap bolt. It's a bolt on the back of the block that threads in to the crankshaft main bearing cap and it's next to the oil filter housing and oil will run down onto the oil pan. There's a service bulletin for this.
2) oil filter housing gasket
3) rarely: front oil pump assembly or front main seal
4) rarely: oil pan gasket
Clean area with a couple cans of brake cleaner, test drive, and re-inspect area.

Sorry, it's an Acura Service News article from June 2009 applying to all Acura compact V6's.

+1 on that service bulletin. Can you provide a copy of it? I think I'm starting to get a leak from that area.

Awesome! Thanks! I think mine is coming from the passenger side, right above the oil pan. Is there a cheaper alternative then the Hondabond stuff? Maybe something easier to find like threadlock? Also we don't have to drain the oil right?

Yeah, it's normally on the passenger side above the drain plug. No, you can't use threadlocker, but you can use a cheaper RTV. No, you don't have to drain the oil, but you do have to pull the cv-axle out of the way to pull the bearing cap bolt all the way out.
