I just baught new wiring harness kits for my cl for my 9006 low beam headlights. The new harness is supposed to let me put higher watt bulbs so they don't melt the plastic or burn out or whatever. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how exactly to install them, the instructions don't help. Its pretty much a new socket with two wires white and black.

don't you just splice them then put them together? And what do you need a new harness for? Doesn't the fuse control how much power, and makes sure that it doesn't "overpower" it? Thats what I thought....I use Nokya Hyper Whites 100w into my low beam and it's perfectly fine

u can get it from autozone or discount autoparts. i think pep boys has them too thier like $35 or so
