Whats up all... the manifold on my baby somehow cracked in half horizontally. So it's time for some headers!!! (Nothing like having to improve the ride due to unforseen circumstances!)

Anways... please don't kill me, but where to go online for good functional headers? From what I've picked up from you guys, OBX is a posibility.... My buddy owns a parts store and said that he can only get me DC Sport headers... which are good, but are also $650.00 CAD his cost!!

Please tell me there is a cheaper, yet functional alternative!?

650 for 4 cyl headers is a DC will be 300-325 at the most....

you might be over paying by 100 dollars but it all depends on your region if parts arent as accessible as others so it might be reasonable

i know there are places like jegs.com, and wrenchhead.com [i think]... but any good ones you guys know of for performance parts?

Oh yeah... my buddy can also get me Ractive headers for $350CAD but correct me if I'm wrong... Ractive products only sound and look good and don't actually improve performance!?

 

I read the 'newbie' sticky, and just wanted to confirm... do the '97 Accord (4 cyl.) headers really fit without a prob? I only ask, because the ones DC make, I think I can get alot cheaper from my buddy than 650.... wouldn't they use the same part number and charge the same price for both???

hey buy some OBX header off ebay get SS stainles steel for about 150 great header.. what I got on my car and a few others have this header too. for the 94-97 accord 4cyl good luck.

 

u can get dc cc header for $280. its worth it. had mine for 3 yrs and no problems. i've even smashed them into the ground several times becuase im so low and they haven't cracked yet. there is also a noticable gain in mid-low power

 

u can reweld a header 1 time. cause after that the properties in the metal are too weak and will break again, on the outside of the weld. however the reweld may not last too long eather. so u can eather buy a new header, or reweld the one u got

 

Anyone have a pic of a real OBX header???? I can get them fer a good price (Accord headers)...
