need help hooking up a switch

alright so my sunvisor screen has the power led on, but it wont turn on when I hit the power button. I unplugged the power and ground wires, plugged them back in and it worked again, and then later wouldnt turn on again.

So i got a switch today, it has 3 connectors, #1 is power, #2 is load, #3 is ground, what is load? is that lead? The screen only has a power and ground wire comming from it. heres a crappy drawing i did up of my available wires...

I have a lead wire from the HU, a power wire that i have tapped into a wire from the battery, and a ground that is grounded to a screw behind the HU. so how should I go about hooking this up? I would think both powers to the power and both grounds to the ground, but whats with #2, the "load?" also my friend told me that I only have to connect the ground that is grounded to the screw...any help is much apreciated

#1 goes to a constant 12v power source
#2 goes to the power of what you wanna turn on
#3 is a constant ground...and you will also need to ground the screen to

it was acting fine liloj, then all of a sudden it wouldnt turn on when i press the on/off button, but the red led power light is still on (confirming that its getting power) so I disconnected the power and ground wires to it, reconnected it and it worked again. So i thought everything was cool. Then the next day, same thing, it wouldnt turn on again (but the led power light would still be on)

yea...you can hook it up to the ground on the switch as long as its ground....you can tap the wire....and the ones with 2 prongs have no polarity i believe...so its 2 power wires...no ground at all....they are used in some apps...but not very safe....
