So first i got my shi$ jacked, than i get my new setup lost in the mail, now yesterday i hit something in the road, still not sure what it was, and bent my right two rims to the point of not holding air. They said it might be possible to bend them back, but they will look like crap and it will cost near 300 to try. So, If my insurence company covers me for the price of stock wheels, which they should, i am looking at the following two wheels. (my current wheels have been discontinued by giovanna and are no longer available....sucks...) By the way, im a silver first gen....

I am leaning towards the last one....5zigen in hyperblack/blackchrome...







Also, on a side note...what do you think about converting my exhaust to dual and putting these tips on?

they all look pretty good, but my choice would goto the 5z4 or c2's depends on what kind of look youre going for, classy or sporty. I like the tips, but you might get flamed for trying to imitate porsche tips

Looks like im going for the 5zigens and a hayame exhaust.

97Acura3.0CL, i finally got in contact with the guy yesterday. He said his net was down at home and he was out of town. He called me today and said he received the package as he had the wrong zip. 96758 instead of 95678. He said he is shipping it tomorrow morning next day because of the time delay. I should get them sat afternoon. I put a deposit on the rims to hold them untill i see whats up with insurence.

Has anyone had their rims destroyed due to a road hazard? I was wondering what to expect from insurence.

At least i will have 2 18 inch spares around for next time.

I like the Racing Harts, but they are kinda played out. The 5zigens have been done also, but still look hot. The do agree with klepto that the 5's are more sporty looking. It will still look good though, no doubt. :thumbup:

i checked the price on 5zigens... and.. wow.. tooooo expensive.. +_+

it's like 1.5~2 times expensive than RH..

but.. if u can afford, go for it!! it's much better!

 

hmm it shouldnt be THAT much more expensive then RH. where were u looking at the price at? web sites? u shouldnt buy rims online.

go with the zigen's. that exahust tip won't look right on a first gen seeing as we don't have dual mufflers. If i am correct, that tip is from a newer porsche right?
