It's probably your heat shield.

What i did to find the rattle was stand at the back of the car and shake the muffler. listen for any rattles and work your way from there. If you hear rattles it's more than likely your heat-shield which basically runs the length of your exhaust (check by the flanges because this is the most common place where they will rub). If you don't hear rattles there is a good chance you have an exhaust leak. Mine just recently rotted out about 2 weeks ago, i had some huge gaping holes in the piping leading to the muffler. Thanks New Jersey for salting the roads so well. Good luck in your findings hope it doesnt break the wallet to much.

I was tired of it any how so i just changed out the whole cat back system. It was $550 but i put it on myself so i saved some that way, i'm sure there are less expensive kit's but i wanted something quiet and it seems like you've gotta spend some dough to get that accomplished . Anyhow to repair the pipe it would've been fairly cheap, probably somewhere between 50-100 dollars at a meineke shop.

Most likely a leak, just go under the car near the muffler in the rear and feel the pipe (when it's cooled down of course) and see if it's rusted through anywhere. If it's rust that is flaking off there is a good chance that somewhere down the line there is a leak in your exhaust system.

Thanks man we got some new cars coming for 2004 so stay tuned for that.. The Greddy SP has a low and deep tone not high pitch like generic exhausts. I would think it would fit I dont see why not but if I'm wrong can anyone correct me on this?

I'm not 100% but i don't think it will work. The 97-99 3.0 accord cat-back is a seperate model number than the 94-97 2.2 accord. I can tell you for sure the 94-97 2.2 model will directly fit your cat. without any custom bending.
