mudgaurds

she's in the shop(rear lip is turning out to be a bitch) before i get her out was thinking of taking off the mud guard in the front.after alittle scraping accident the bottom is frayed abit and the paint chipped off(repainted 97's) should i ditch them completely or repaint?

repaint and put em back on, they will keep they paint getting beat up and keep the car cleaner in general. plus they dont look bad.

lol theres actually alot of evo owners that wish there were mud guards that were made to blend in with the rest of the body like acura and honda has......so i say repaint and keep and make those evo owners jelous

I say keep em. you go through any standing water and teh water gets sprayed up on the side of teh car, then dries and looks like you went driving through mud. well worth it to keep em on.

7-3 keep damnit!!!!they seem like they're gonna need a touch up every 3 months cuz when they peel they're.seems like more trouble than they're worth but then again they add character(kinda make the stock skirt look aftermarket)and do kinda serve a purpose.i'm so confused.........

keep em, unless they're scraping REALLY bad, it'll only be the fronts scraping cuz you're on sportlines

he's only on sportlines and he's scraping?!?!?! :Rofl:

god you must suck at driving.

I'm dropped 2.5" and I NEVER scrape unless it's insanely big speed bump in a parking lot, even then it's just the exhaust piping that scrapes.

maybe slow down when you go over bumps?

i'm sportline on a 3.0.my front is lower than 1.8 prob about if not more than 2.5.i'm almost tucking the 35's.my mudguard in front has less than an in clearance.i had a teg slammed 3+in. i know how to drive/take angles. :shakehead
