Wait until you get the CD. Most of them are pics of your car! Now I have to send a whole day taking pics of my car.

So you like my Ass?

I changed the lettering on the back of the car after someone took my bumper cover off in a merging traffic situation. Since they had de-badged the trunk to paint the bumper cover and rear quarter panel, I decided to place the TL ACURA lettering on instead. It's one of my favorite things on the car.

Really? I thought I was the only one with it. Post some pics please! I've had mine on for about 2 years and I just love how it stands apart from the other CL's.

I didn't get a chance a chance to put the changer in yet. i figured i will wait for Acura to replace the radio next week due to the PE0 error that I'm getting. I may just have them do the install.

I have had mine on for just about 2 years too maybe alittle less. I used to have the TL lettering which was pretty closly spaced like yours but when my trunk was replaced they took them off and put some lettering from the new CL on (and let me keep the TL lettering ). I like it better cause its spaced out more. I just had the "A" for awhile because it took them like 4 tries before they got the right lettering and I didnt like the clean look very much. I'll try to get some pics

Cool. Pics are always good. I didn't realize that the CL lettering was more spaced out. Anyway, like I said before, that's one of the best things that I like about my car and most of my friends say that they look for when they see a car that is similar....

Hmmm... white is an innocent, pure, saintly color, Casper. I don't think it fits. If you and Melo are twins, I think you should have black. LOL... I'm only teasing.

Hey, Melo, so how do you feel now that you're hearing that tons of peeps dig the way your A C U R A lettering looks and want to have the same thing on their cars? Do you feel less special? I'm only teasing, you know me

I got mine from the dealer. Around $40 I think. Don't quote me because I don't remember. Mine was from the 98-99 TL.

Actually it makes me feel even better. It just means that my peeps on the board all have good taste! Believe me, at first I didn't want to show anyone and keep it just for myself, but I don't really care. Someone else on the board had the same idea as me around the same time, so it was bound to happen. They can put the same emblems on if they want, but they still won't have the same ass!

Actually no. It was very easy. The most important part is making sure that it's on straight. Once it's it's on, it will be very hard to take off!

The way I did it was I took the middle "U" and positioned it on the fold of the trunk. You have to bend the U a little. Make sure that one is level and straight and the rest will go right on perfect. When you get the letters, they are stuck on both sides with plastic. You can place it on the trunk and see how it looks and check the position before you actually take the plastic off. Then the top plastic that holds the letters together and evenly spaced comes off after you stick them on.

Good luck!

Actually now that i think of it when i had my car fixed they gave me back my old
A C U R A emblems. They just need some new double sided tape and i have the foam cutout thing to line them up. I will look to see if i still have them and if i can find them i will sell to the highest bidder
