Maintenance Required reset button in the way

MaintenanceRequired rest button in the way of indiglo gauges?!?! The pig tail coming off the gauges for the speedometer is right on that. Can't bend the pig tail and it seems like you have to pull the switch out.

WTF? Searches and all my time on this board and I have never heard of this. Anyone else?

Bump? Anyone? I got them in just fine after removing that button, but it's going to require yanking the cluster to reset that thing in the future.

That's funny, I don't remember anyone ever having a problem with their guages like that. I would say try to return/ exchange them. If not sell them.

Even if you bend thm w/o breaking them, you may not have enough room after re-assembly and the needles might stick.

Do you guys have that reset button? If so, were your gauges designed with the pig tail in a different spot on the speedo gauge face?

The gauge face has the opening and wording to reflect the Maintenance Required useage, but the pig tail is where the key reset button is.

Nevermind, In looking at the parts online, it looks like this gauge set was not correct. It fits, but that one pig tail is supposed to right angle down a bit to clear the button:

Mine does not.
