Mad!

Fuckers at the install place broke my temp and fuel guage needles!

I'm going to have to pay for it because they said "they told me if anything like that happened they would not be held responsible."

Damn cock suckers. And also they said my car would be done by friday...now they said it won't be done till wednesday

Simple common sense would have told them that after breaking on...do not attempt the second one. Bastards.

did you buy the gauges from them?
if you did they shouldnt charge you for anything beyond the original cost of the gauges and labor. If you got them else where, you should try to get out of paying labor the second time around. But you are pretty much SOL on the busted gauges.

Damn, sorry to hear about that!

The gauges are pretty simple to install. They must have some idiots as installers!

that is bad. if a shop cant install gauges then they really must suck. not to mention breaking 2 of em. its not easy to break the needles. u have to force the gauges on them the wrong way. why the fuck some1 would use a lot of force on a delicate thing is beyond me. i mean ovbioulsy that cant be the right way. all u do is slide the hole of the guages under the big circle part of the needle once it is almost all the wAy on. u have to bend the guage slightly but not the needle. then theres more then enough room to get it over the needle. fuckin idiots. now u kow why most of us do everythign ourselves. im still debating on letting some do my suspension. ill have to go t some1 i know and be around to supervise. good luck. take em to court. unless somewhere they have a sign or somethin stating they aint responsible

:shakehd: Another victim of broken guages, they are such a bitch to get on. I was not using that much force when I was installing mine, but I broke the needle off my gas gauge, it was like 55 bucks to order another gauge. Despite all the hassles, they look so good.

Damn man... that's why I never bothered with gauge faces.. That sucks big time...

Unfortunately by law you had an oral agreement (and probably fine print on your invoice) that will not able you to do shit! You agreed that they would not be responsible so you can not hold them responsible now! Take it as an $$$$ Lesson... SORRY!

i just did gauges on a teg 2 days ago. if you would have read my gauge install post in the useful topics forum you'd be fine.

IF YOU GUYS DONT WANT TO MESS WITH THE GAUGES, SEND THE CLUSTER AND THE FACES TO ME, ALONG WITH $20 FOR LABOR AND SHIPPING BACK, AND I WILL DO IT!
