The drop looks good. Doesn't look like there's much gap.

By the way, that's a header (not headers). Hopefully everything goes well on the install.

I like the style of the mirrors because of the signal... I'd get the ones that are plain though and paint them to match. Can you take the mirror part out and replace it with something better?

No haven't wired them yet...but honestly i like how they look, i know everyone has their opinion but i'm going to keep them, i just like em! if i could find the stock spoiler, or one very similar in carbon fiber i think it would compliment them well too..are there any out there?

There are m3 lip spoilers in CF, otherwise you're looking at a 3-4 foot rice wing Although, I've always wondered how a CF teg type R wing would look, but I don't like how high they sit, and really if you put real CF on your car, it's gonna make those mirrors look that much more out of place

Personally I'd paint the mirrors, like I said, I had them and sold them because the fake CF paint didn't look like CF

i've seen a couple CLs with the teg type-R wing and imo, it looks terrible... Sits way too high up like you mentioned... Now, if someone took one of those wings and chopped it down so that it sat lower to the trunk, that might not look too bad, but i dunno... Also, the ones I saw weren't carbon fiber, they were painted to match the car...

no that's not the teg type-R wing, wings west actually makes a CL Type-R wing the reason I said a teg type-R is because they make them in CF very few people use the CL Type-R wing though, thank god. I wanted to chop a teg CF one, but I don't think it would end pretty

chopping carbon fiber = the suck... especially if you get a carbon fiber splinter, which is guaranteed to happen, anytime you handle unfinished carbon...

Fiberglass sucks too. All my goalie sticks when I was younger were fiberglass and when they cracked and I had to re-tape it, id be itchy for days. Fortunately they came out with composite sticks, which werent made of fiberglass..

used a dremel on that too... definitely not fun... nor is machining cancerous clutch material...

Well, granted a wing would be finished and clear coated, and a dremel cutting wheel could do the job, I'm just not one for buying a 2-300 part to hack up intentionally. My fear is messing up the clear coat on the CF, or cracking it. Either way, there's not a lot of options for CF wings, especially if you already have the OEM wing drilled into your trunk

^ so are they just coilover sleeves or are they full coilovers with the shocks and springs together?

and you car is coming along nicely and pretty fast too, but i am also not one for the carbon fibers mirrors, i like the turn signal part but i don't like everything else. Atleast you have your own style tho, and no "stick on brake vents"

and depending on whether you debage or not i think tinted tails looks good, just if you do a full trunk debage like i did, it seems like it would be too much black and not enough defenition for the back of the car to tint the taillights, this is just my tho

I dunno about a full debadge, but at least the two outer emblems, tinted tails look like sex on a black car, he should def do it

^agreed, sometimes i wish i didn't do a full debage, but it looks so clean, and no stupid emblems to worry bout drying around/behind them.

here's a pic to illustrate my point, if there was no emblems there would be basically no definition to the back of the car in the same light/shade conditions. but as always to each their own when it comes to modding cars, just wanted to give more info to the OP so he can make an informed decision
