leaking issue

wuzup.
i recently took my 98 2.3 to a local mechanic due to an oil leak. he told me he dosent fix them but he showed me anyways where it was coming from. i believed it was from a sensor but then again the sensor is on top of the tranny and theres no black oil in there. he showed me the oil leak was coming from a tiny pump behind the valve cover. if you stand in front of the car and look at the valve cover, the tiny oil pump is on the left side of the valve cover right behind it? any ideas whats it called so i can go purchase a gasket to fix the problem myself.
later.

This is where the VTEC solenoid valve is on earlier model 2.2 Vtec engines. I had a leak from a 94 Accord EX at this location. There is a special shape oring under the vtec valve assy that gets hard and loses sealing ability.

A manual for your model is best to

good luck
